Don't you guys know what is this? Yup! It Is Nasi Kandar in Ipoh town area. The official name for the nasi kandar stall is actually called ‘Perniagaan Nasi Kandar Ayam Merah’ and they operate at a Chinese owned coffee shop called YONG SUAN.
During peak hours, you really need to queue up around 30minutes to an hours. Bu the way, this Nasi Kandar stall had a funny nickname called 'Nasi Ganja'. When you travel to Ipoh, and ask for the local where is the 'Nasi Ganja', for sure they will told you here it is! HAHA.
'Ganja' actually is the Cannabis or so called Weed in Malay words. I think that gave such terms for this Nasi Kandar was because, they can't give a proper describe to this dish? Maybe~😅
However, I 100% confirm there is no cannabis or any illegal substance whatsoever used in the cooking!😆
It comprises steamed rice and a variety of different curries and side dishes, all on the same plate. Depending on your order, it could go up to 5-6 different curries on the same plate of rice. It called 'kuah campur'. All the curry mix into it, it sounds complicated... But trust me! Those mix curry (kuah campur) will take you to the heaven~ It give another experience to taste the Nasi Kandar.
